Warranty
Applies to Recycled Mats only.
All Recycled Mats purchased from The Outdoor Mat Co. come with a three (3) year manufacturer's warranty.
This warranty is extended to you from the original supplier of the mat, Affordable Camping Mats. This three-year manufacturer's warranty is made up of:
- 12 months full warranty against manufacturing fault of the recycled-plastic component of the mat; and
- 24 months pro-rata warranty against manufacturing fault of the recycled-plastic component of the mat.
The Outdoor Mat Co. promise
We guarantee that our recycled mats are provided to you without any manufacturing faults or defects. If a fault is discovered, then Affordable Camping Mats will repair or replace the mat at their discretion.
The ability to make a warranty claim is only available to the original purchaser of the recycled mat. If the mat has been purchased second-hand, any remaining warranty period will lapse.
What is covered by warranty
If the recycled mat is in brand new, unused condition, then the entire mat is covered by the warranty. This includes the recycled-poly portion of the mat, the outer edge binding, stitching and the eyelets.
Once the mat has been used, only the recycled-poly portion of the mat is covered by the warranty. The Outdoor Mat Co., nor Affordable Camping Mats, can be held liable for any faults or damage to the outer-edge binding, stitching or the eyelets once the mat has been used.
What is not covered by warranty
Any faults or failures deemed by inappropriate or improper use or abuse, failure to follow our care instructions or failure to fold the mat as described. This may include, but is not limited to:
- General wear and tear;
- Over stretching of the mat causing it to loose original shape;
- Damage caused by heavy or sharp furniture being placed on the mat;
- Extensive exposure to sunlight or moisture;
- Acts of nature that are beyond the products specifications;
- Commercial use is not covered under warranty.
The carry bag is not covered by warranty.
The purchaser's responsibility
Upon receipt of the mat, it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the mat has been delivered damage and fault free. Whilst we take care to ensure your mat is perfect when it leaves us, circumstances outside of our control may alter the condition of the mat when it is delivered to you.
If a fault is discovered upon receipt, please follow the steps below to make a warranty claim. The mat must remain in new and unused condition until the warranty claim is assessed, a decision made and further instructions provided.
To make a claim
- Email info@theoutdoormat.com.au and notify your intention to make a warranty claim, together with a description and photos of the fault, and your original purchase receipt.
- When instructed, you will need to lodge a Warranty Claim with the original mat supplier, Affordable Camping Mats here: https://affordablecamping.com.au/pages/warranty
- Affordable Camping Mats will assess your warranty claim and determine the next steps.
- If required, you will need to send the original mat back at your own expense.
- If a warranty claim is approved, Affordable Camping Mats reserves the right to replace or repair your mat, reimburse you for repairs required, or refund you the original purchase price, excluding any shipping costs.
