5 reasons why you need a recycled mat

 

It’s no secret that our recycled mats are hugely popular and frequently seen across campsites all over this amazing country. But have you ever wondered why?

Not only are they perfect when caravanning and camping as an annex mat, but their versatility makes them ideal as a beach mat, picnic mat, play mat for the kids and just an all-around multi-purpose outdoor mat.

1.   Brightens up any campsite

A recycled mat is an excellent way to double your living space outside your caravan or camper. Up to 6m long and the same width as most awnings (2.4m), it will create a welcoming and comfortable extension of your ‘outdoor living room’.

3.   Keep dirt and sand away

A recycled mat ensures a pleasant camping experience, no matter where you are. The tight weave prevents sand and dirt from coming up through the mat, meaning you won't trek it through your van or camper. If you get sand or dirt on the mat, just a simple sweep, and it's gone. 

4.   Soft and comfortable underfoot

Our mats are made from hollow, straw-like tubes of recycled plastic woven together in a tight weave. The air pockets in each tube create a soft and comfortable surface for you to 'live' on when in the great outdoors. For this same reason, our mats are perfect for the little ones.

It's effortless to keep these mats clean. Simply sweep off with a broom. 'Housework' is even more of a breeze with a leaf blower. For mud or stubborn marks, use a hose and a broom to 'scrub' them away. A household gurney, held at an excessive distance from the mat, is also a great way to deep-clean your mat as required.
